Can I get a contacts prescription with the Eyebot kiosk?
No. Currently, the Eyebot kiosk works for eyeglass prescriptions only.
Do I need an appointment to use an Eyebot kiosk?
No. You can use the Eyebot kiosk at any time without ever having to make an appointment. Be sure to check for operating hours at the location closest to you.
Does Eyebot prescribe directly from the kiosk?
Noβjust like in a regular vision test, Eyebot collects multiple points of patient data (including visual acuity, refraction, and lensometer data, and then our tele-doctors craft a final prescription just like in their own clinic.
Can I purchase glasses through the kiosk?
Not currently. We make it easy to purchase eyeglasses through our optical retail partners after receiving your vision test through our kiosk.
How accurate is Eyebotβs eye scanner?
Eyebotβs second generation (Gen2) touch-free autorefractor technology is on par with the gold standard clinical systems.
