Adults aged 18-64 with no known eye conditions are eligible to use the Eyebot kiosk. Every prescription issued through Eyebot is written and verified by a licensed eye doctor using their clinical training and judgement. The Eyebot kiosk collects refraction, lensometry, visual acuity, and patient history—the key information commonly gathered in an eye care clinic for high quality prescriptions. Those results are securely sent to a licensed eye doctor who reviews them and decides whether or not to issue a prescription.

No. The Eyebot kiosk provides a vision test focused on determining your eyeglass prescription. It does not replace a comprehensive eye exam, which evaluates overall eye health and can detect medical conditions.

No. Currently, the Eyebot kiosk works for eyeglass prescriptions only.

While we recommend registering prior to the event, we will be accepting walk-ins.

No—just like in a regular vision test, Eyebot collects multiple points of patient data (including visual acuity, refraction, and lensometer data, and then our tele-doctors craft a final prescription just like in their own clinic.

There are 2 options. We can mail them directly to their mailing address, or they can pick them up at the same location where the event was hosted at a later date.

Yes. Prescriptions issued through Eyebot are written by licensed eye doctors and can be used anywhere that accepts valid eyeglass prescriptions.
